Wisdom and Guidance
This prayer asks God for clarity, discernment, and direction, seeking His wisdom to make choices that honor Him and align with His will.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a humble heart, knowing that I cannot walk this life on my own. There are so many choices before me, so many voices speaking into my life, and yet I long to hear only Yours. Your Word tells me that if I lack wisdom, I can ask, and You will give generously.
So Lord, I ask You now, fill me with Your wisdom that comes from above, wisdom that is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy. Teach me how to discern right from wrong, truth from lies, and light from darkness. When I face decisions, big or small, remind me to lean not on my own understanding but to trust You with all my heart.
Guide my steps so they align with Your will and keep me from paths that would harm me or lead me away from You. Lord, I don’t want to move ahead of You or lag behind; I want to walk in step with Your Spirit. Help me to recognize opportunities You place before me, and give me the courage to obey even when I do not see the full picture.
Surround me with people who encourage my faith and speak godly counsel into my life. May every choice I make reflect Your love, honor Your name, and bring blessing to those around me.
I surrender my plans to You, Lord, and I trust that You will make my path straight.
