The Lord’s Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer

In this prayer, Jesus shows what prayer is, why it helps, where we struggle, and how to practice it. Which sets your focus on God’s Name and Kingdom, then moves to daily needs, mercy, guidance, and protection all in order.

Here is the Lord’s Prayer in the King James Version

(Matthew 6:9–13, KJV):

"Our Father Which Art in Heaven.

Hallowed Be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom Come.

Thy Will Be Done in Earth, as It Is in Heaven.

Give us this Day our Daily Bread.

And Forgive us our Debts, as we Forgive our Debtors.

And Lead us not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil.

For Thine Is The Kingdom, and The Power, and The Glory.

For Ever.

Amen."
